I was asked to evaluate an already existing website in order to make a more friendly user experience.
This is the homepage of the website I was evaluating
I began with an understanding of the user persona and their demographics based on a survey completed by Medscape.
I then did a competitive analysis of similar sites to get a feel for the flow of other comparable sites, what was included, what was not, etc.
I conducted four interviews about the website: likes/dislikes, how individuals interacted with the site and found common themes to improve within the site.
This is the wireframe suggestion for a redesign of the website in which more visuals were added, tweets were not the main focus of the website, more white space was included in the design etc.
